venimar is a small family business. We run Quinta da Victória and the bike rental ourselves.
Our history
Quinta da Victória has been in our family since 1987. We took it over as a ruin, restored it over six years and welcomed the first guests in 1993. In 2021 we began renovating the whole Quinta once more; the work was completed in 2025, and the Quinta reopened on 28 February 2025.
Who we are
We manage the Quinta ourselves, together with our team, and look after our guests personally. After the pandemic we decided to renovate everything and adapt the concept to how people travel today. We are on site every day and there when you need us.
What we stand for
A place to rest – and to work if you need to. With fibre internet and Wi-Fi everywhere, the Quinta also suits a workation. Every house can be used on its own, while the shared courtyard brings groups together.
With our own e-bike rental right at the Quinta, we are made for cyclists too, and the mountains are close by. Our motto: home away from home.
The bike rental
The bike rental grew out of the Quinta: during the renovation the old double garage became a bike room, starting with 10 e-bikes. Since August 2024, venimar – Bike rental & tours has also been open to the public.
Energy
During the renovation we made the Quinta more energy-efficient, including a solar power system for our own electricity. The project was co-funded by the Portuguese Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR) and the European Union – NextGenerationEU (project sheet, PDF).
